PATH Program Goals
The PATH Program (Promoting Accessibility To Healthcare) is a Children’s Miracle Network grant funded project aimed at improving healthcare experiences for neurodiverse patients and their families.
The PATH Program Goals
•Provide safe, supportive and individualized care for neurodiverse patients by:
•Decreasing medical trauma
•Decreasing restraint use
•Decreasing length of procedures
•Decreasing use of pharmocological anxiolytics
•Decreasing unsuccessful procedures
•Improving family participation in in procedural support and co-regulation
•Increasing family’s confidence in their ability to execute care plans
•Improving patient’s ability to participate in healthcare
